Our Story
Bat City Archery began with a simple belief: archery can transform young people. Not just their aim, but their confidence, their discipline, their ability to perform under pressure. Over 12 years and 250+ athletes, that belief has been proven on the range, at state tournaments, and on the national stage.
The coaching methodology developed by Head Coach Jim DeLine is built on four pillars: culture and community first, purposeful practice, technical mastery through a structured shot cycle, and tournament readiness through mental performance training. This system has produced 15 state championships and 6 national championships across four Austin-area school programs.
The BCA Edu Platform was built to take that system beyond Austin. Every drill, diagnostic, mental scenario, and coaching framework in the platform comes directly from the methodology that produced these results. It is not a generic sports app adapted for archery. It was built from scratch, by the coaches who developed it, for the sport they know.

Head Coach & Co-Founder
Jim DeLine has spent over 12 years developing the coaching system that powers Bat City Archery. His methodology integrates structured technical progression with psychological performance training, an approach that treats the mental game not as an add-on, but as the foundation of competitive archery.
The results speak for themselves: 15 state championships, 6 national championships, and a track record of developing archers who perform consistently under pressure. Jim's coaching language, drill library, diagnostic framework, and mental scenario system are the intellectual foundation of every module in the BCA Edu Platform.
His 9-Step Shot Cycle, 4-Level Skill Pyramid, and culture-first coaching philosophy have been refined across hundreds of athletes and thousands of practice sessions. The platform makes this system deployable by any coach, including those who don't yet have Jim's 10,000 hours on the range.

Every BCA school program runs on the same coaching methodology, the same framework now available through the Edu Platform.

Lamar Archery brings consistent competitive excellence, developing archers who embody the BCA culture-first, process-over-outcome approach.

The Platform
The BCA Edu Platform takes everything that makes Bat City Archery's coaching methodology work and makes it available to any coach or archer through a subscription platform. That includes the structured curriculum, the mental performance training, the diagnostic framework, and the coaching language.
Seven integrated curriculum modules cover the full development spectrum: from foundational shot cycle work to competition-level mental scenarios. An AI coaching engine trained on Jim's methodology provides real-time support. Team management tools let coaches deploy the system to their entire program.
No other product in the archery market combines structured coaching curriculum, mental performance training, AI coaching, and team management in one platform. This is the system behind 15 state championships and 6 national championships, and it is now yours to use.
